Knights, dragons, girls sacrificed ... the eternal struggle between good and evil.

Bruno Bettelheim explains that contrary to what happens in many modern childhood stories, in fairytales (and in legends n.d.t.) evil is just as omnipresent as virtue. In practically every fairytale good and evil are embodied by certain characters and in their actions, just like in our daily lives and the inclinations humans have towards one or the other. It is the hero who appeals mostly to children because they can identify with him in all his struggles. Thanks to that identification, the children can imagines that they too must endure tests and tribulations with the hero, and they feel like they triumph with him when virtue seizes victory.

The show was performed at the Parco di Porte in Trambileno (TN) on 26th October 2015.
